This year, the Worshipful Company of Farriers will be proudly participating in the Lady Mayor’s Show with our own entry, rather than joining another float.

Our presence will feature a coach and four horses, driven by Past Master Mr John Peacock, with Sam Lane as our official photographer.

A strong team of participants will be walking alongside the Master, Mr John Cowper-Coles, in what is always a unique and colourful Civic occasion. We hope many of you will be able to join the crowds along the procession route to show your support.

The Livery Committee has prepared the official press commentary for the BBC, as well as our entry for the Lady Mayor’s Show programme, which this year will include an interactive link to our website. Liveryman Chris Greenwood will serve as our official spokesperson.

We are also delighted to acknowledge the generous contribution from the Master, Mr John Cowper-Coles, towards the costs of our participation, ensuring that the Farriers’ Company can proudly showcase both the Livery and the craft of farriery on a national stage.
