Appendix 3 - Other Languages
POSITION STATEMENT ON THE USE OF OTHER LANGUAGES
The Diploma Examination is set and examined in English only. There are currently no Colleges offering the approved course of training in any language other than English.
Non-English speaking candidates may request the aid of a translator for the written examination only. The Company will normally accept an interpreter nominated by the Embassy of the candidate’s own country, provided the person nominated is not a veterinary surgeon or a farrier. This is subject to the Company’s approval. The conduct of interpreters and all cost of interpreting or translation must be born by the candidate. When interpreters are used, the time limit of the written paper may be extended at the discretion of the Registrar.
