For those candidates who are training under the aegis of the Farriery Training Agency, the FTA informs the Registrar when an apprentice is eligible to take the Diploma examination. The Registrar then contacts the candidate and forwards an application form and other information relevant to the examination. Application Forms for apprentices under the Approved Apprenticeship Scheme may be made available to candidates during their pre-examination training course at the Approved Training Centre (ATC).

Formal application for the Diploma examination must be lodged with the Company’s Registrar no less than 28 days before the appointed day for the commencement of the examination. Examination fees (where applicable) must be paid on application.

Candidates from overseas who are not training under the aegis of the FTA should contact the Registrar direct.
